Great Wolf Lodge approached PE to be the prime site civil consultant for their first resort in the state of Florida. Our efforts started with planning and zoning (rezone of property), governmental contribution agreement assistance / negotiations for economic contributions, and full site design. PE was challenged to fit what Great Wolf normally constructs on 40 acre campuses in North America, into a 20-acre box. For those that understand development in Florida, this included meeting the necessary water management and retained native vegetation requirements. The site is under construction.
