Manatee County Logistics Center is a master planned, campus style industrial park located in Manatee County, FL. The logistics center will include over 550,000 sq. ft. of Class A space within three 180,000 sq. ft. buildings. The project is located at the corner of a major intersection of Manatee County and FDOT roadways (44th Ave E and US 301). In addition to design and permitting efforts with those entities to realize the project development, the design also included such challenges as accommodating pass-through drainage from multiple off-site properties, coordination with FPL to allow development within an existing FPL transmission line easement, and modification of a master water management system model which was created in a joint effort by Manatee County and the Southwest Florida Water Management district.
