Bruce Layman

Bruce Layman, Senior Professional Wetland Scientist, has been an ecologist and environmental permitter in SWFL since 1992. He is primarily responsible for conducting wetland and wildlife assessments to support local, state and federal environmental permitting for private and public interests. Project involvement includes providing environmental support for permitting and post-permit compliance for Ave Maria, serving as Natural Resource Advisor (NRA) and later NRA manager, for the Mississippi coastline during the Deepwater Horizon oil spill clean-up effort, providing Environmental Impact Assessment support for the Municipality of San Juan Puerto Rico for a proposed waterfront promenade along the fortified shoreline of the city, providing environmental oversight through 3-D seismic testing for oil and gas exploration at Racoon Point within Big Cypress National Preserve and providing design and permitting support for the Isle of Capri Paddlecraft Park.
