Naples, FL, — August 8, 2025 – Barron Collier Companies (BCC) has announced Winchester Self Storage will begin construction in August at Winchester Center, a retail development located on Immokalee Road and Orange Tree Boulevard in Naples.
Winchester Self Storage will be a climate controlled, three story, self-storage facility. There will be 934 storage units within 127,989 square feet on 2.8 acres of land with leasing and management facilitated by StorQuest. The facility will open in Fall 2026. The site design, permitting and overall project management is facilitated by Peninsula Engineering, a subsidiary of BCC.
“We are excited to bring Winchester Self Storage to Winchester Center, which will be a nice addition to the recently opened master planned commercial park that includes Ace Hardware, NCH Healthcare, McDonalds and more. It is also a great amenity to Vintage Naples, a 400-unit Class A apartment complex in the adjacent Randall at Orangetree component that is now under construction. This self-storage facility will offer fresh and convenient storage options for residents of the many rapidly growing Eastern Collier County communities,” said Rod Castan, President, Barron Collier Investment Partners, asset manager for BCHD Partners I Self Storage joint venture.
Winchester Center and Winchester Self Storage are part of a collaboration between Metro Commercial Development Group and Barron Collier Companies. The two organizations have partnered to develop retail and mixed-use centers in the Southeast United States. Their first joint venture, Founders Square at Immokalee Road and Collier Boulevard, spans over 100,000 square feet of commercial and is 100% leased. Winchester Center marks the second collaboration between the two firms in Collier County.
Upon completion, Winchester Center will span 21-acres and 41,836 square feet of commercial space in the retail center. It is strategically positioned in one of the fastest growing regions in Southwest Florida. Castan said, “The population in the surrounding area has grown almost 15% over the last 5 years, and we expect this kind of growth to continue going forward which highlights the need for quality commercial development such as Winchester Center and Winchester Self Storage.”
